NATIONAL LOTTERY AWARDS 2011
Bramley Carnival has been successful yet again we have recieved the sum of £2765.00 from the National Lottery Awards, this will of course help to support our New Project The Great Bramley Carnival Tea Party hosted by Bramley Elderley Action Team.
Bramley Carnival are delighted that we have managed to get funding so that we could pay for a large Marquee for the Elderly and Disabled to be seated at Bramley Carnival 2011.
It has taken 3 years to get this as previous funding applications had been declined. Thank You to the National Lottery Awards Team.
Teas and Scones will be served at a moderate cost please do support the cause.

BRAMLEY CARNIVAL QUEEN AND PRINCESSES 2011
Bramley Carnival 2011 have officially reigned the Carnival Queen and 3 Princesses. Well Done to the Girls and the Families of these Talented Girls Welcome to the Throne of 2011.

COMIC RELIEF FUNDING SUPPORTS BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
Leeds Community Foundation have supported Bramley Carnival in association with Comic Relief Community Cash we have recived the sum of £1000 to help the Bramley Carnival 2011. We are delighted that we are getting this support because without this support we would not be able to afford a Community Carnival. Thanks to Leeds Community Foundationa nd Comic Relief.

BRAMLEY CARNIVAL MANAGEMENT FUNDS ELDERLY ACTION MARQUEE 2011
Bramley Carnival Management Terence and Helen made it possible to give a helping hand to Bramley Elderly Action on the 2011 Carnival as both Terence and Helen was seeking funding for The Great Bramley Carnival Tea Party in which we succeeded and therfore we ordered a Large marquee to seat 200 people for Cream Teas and Scones The marquee was hosted by Bramley Elderly Action Staff.
Bramley Carnival Management are delighted that we have been very helpful by supplying this huge marquee to support Bramley Elderly Action 2011. Wel Done to Terence and Helen for making this happen.

RACHEL REEVES TALKS ABOUT BRAMLEY BATHS ON STAGE AT BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
Rachael Reeves MP was invited by Bramley Carnival Management to take Centre Stage and talk about Bramley Baths. We are pleased that this happened as its very important that we save Bramley Baths.

A Big Thank You goes out to Mr Tim Mahony from Samuel Keighley & Sons Funeral Service. Mr Mahony was approached by Terence and Helen of Bramley Carnival Management whilst at Pudsey Carnival we asked Mr Mahony if he would help to support Bramley Carnival by providing some vehicles to convey the Carnival Queen and Princesses he agreed to do this for us and we are delighted that he is offering us some support. Also a Big Thank You from Steve from Bentleys Butchers in Pudsey for supporting Bramley Carnival 2011. Both Tim and Steve really made it all hasppen for the 2011 Carnival Queen and Attendants. NORTH WEST HOMES LEEDS SUPPORTS BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
North West Homes Leeds again visited Bramley Carnival with their information stall, its a great pleasure to have the Local Housing people involved as we are a community organisation.
NWHL have been supportinbg Bramley carnival since its revival in 2006.

BRAMLEY CARNIVAL SECRETARY HELEN STRIKES THE 2011 EVENT AS A CLOWN ENTERTAINING MANY PEOPLE
Our Carnival Secretary Helen decided to strike as a clown for the 2011 Bramley Carnival whilst travelling on a Vintage Truck owned by Tim Mahony from Pudsey asssisted by my Nephew Owen and our friend Barbara, all these people were entertaining the kids whilst the procession was on route to Bramley Park throwing sweets into the crowds. A Big round of applause for these magnificient people Thank You.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JOHN KNAPTON WHO PARED HIS STEAM ROLLER AT THE 2011 BRAMLEY CARNIVAL THANKS JOHN
It was a great sensation to see a Steam Roller in the Bramley Carnival 2011 supplied and owned by Mr John Knapton, we were delighted that Mr Knapton was able to support the Bramley Carnival 2011, we have had numerous comments back from the people of Bramley and it was certainly enjoyed by many people Thanks again for your support.

LEEDS CITY MUSEUMS JOIN BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
Bramley Carnival came to life when Leeds City Museums Troupe made it to the streets of Bramley to join in the Parade in full colour costume.
Bramley Carnival is one of 4 in the region that have been selected for the Leeds City Museums Exhibition which started on 22nd July 2011 at the City Museum Cookridge Street Leeds, Please go along and see what an excellent job has been done by the Curators, Its Free Addmission, Others include Otley Carnival, Leeds Gay Pride and West Indian Carnival.

YOUTH BANDS MAKE BRAMLEY CARNIVAL THE PLACE TO BE 2011
A special Thanks to Jim Turner and Sarah McCann for making it possible for the Youth Service to be involved with Bramley Carnival by supplying Youth Bands that perform live on stage at the Carnival entertaining everyone and showing what talent these guys have, Thank You to the performers you were all great look forward to seeing you again.

BRAMLEY SCHOOLS DOING THEIR BIT FOR BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
Bramley Schools Cluster consists of ten schools in the Bramley area and all the schools get involved with the Bramley Carnival making people happy as the children parade in costume, colour,talent and enjoyment even the teachers and parents join in too making it one big parade, the schools really do make the Carnival stand out and its a great pleasure to have them on board Thank you.

Well Charlie certainly does it at Bramley Carnival he is our Commentator and he really does get stuck in when it comes to announcing whats going on at Bramley Carnival, Charlie has many years experience as a Commentator he makes himself know to everyone at the Carnival he is talented, experienced and well worth having. Well Tiger Feet really made a lot of people happy at Bramley Carnival 2011, The Band was performing dressed in bright colours, as you can see the man with Green Neon Hair is Woody who is the band leader of Tiger Feet. Bramley was Rocking.

THE GREAT BRAMLEY CARNIVAL TEA PARTY
Bramley Carnival Tea Party Marquee was entertaining the public as they entered the Marquee, there was various activity taking place in the Marquee, there were people of all ages coming in especially the Elderly and Disabled, there were Cream Teas and Scones avaiable, The food and Beverages were supplied and Hosted by Bramley Elderley Action.

Well the marquee was there for the Great Bramley Carnival Tea Party also were the clouds overcasting with showers of rain at times througout the day, it was certainly the place to be when the rain came.

Well talk about Exhaustion Terence and Helen decided that it was time for a break having escorted the Lord Mayor of Leeds around Bramley Park introducing him to the stall holders and performers. The Lord Mayor then has Cream Tea and Scones with us in the Great Bramley Carnival Tea Party Marquee, The Lord Mayor Mayor was highly delighted with the operation of Bramley Carnival and said that it is one of the best in the area. It was a pleasure to accompany the Lord Mayor and he was welcomed to our event.

THE VIKINGS PARADING PAST THE YORKSHIRE BANK ON TOWN STREET BRAMLEY WITH BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
Well it was true the Vikings invaded Bramley on Sunday 15th July 2011 to join in with the Bramley Carnival parade just passing the Yorkshire Bank on route to Bramley Park to join the rest of the event. The Vikings are called Ormsheim Vikings and they performance was second to none thanks lads for a great day at the Bramley carnival in Leeds Sorry about the weather.

Bramley Carnival Welcomes the Hareer Belly Dancers for the 5th Year running these talented ladies have been entertaining carnival goers for 5 years now we have had a great success from this Team Thank you and certainly the different colours do make Bramley Carnival an Happy place to be.

FIREFLY INVITED BACK TO BRAMLEY CARNIVAL 2011
Firefly have rejoined Bramley Carnival in 2011 and will continue to do so for many years to come. Firefly have always been interested in Bramley Carnival but previous years have been making it difficult as other Fire Engines were present and things were not going very well but we have now solved that situation and Firefly are back with us.

BRAMLEY SAPHIRES GETTING READY FOR THE CARNIVAL 2011
Bramley Sapphires made the day at Bramley Carnival 2011 Getting into positions at Bramley Shopping Centre as Bramley Carnival parade gets ready to roll, its confirmed that Bramley Sapphires Majorettes have been fully supportive to Bramley Carnival and have been performing for us for the past 5 successful years. A Big thank you to all the people involved.

BRAMLEY ELDERLY ACTION DONATE £82 TO BRAMLEY CARNIVAL
Bramley Carnival Management has been handed over the sum of £82 from Bramley Elderly Action this was part of the proceeds that were raised in the Great Bramley Carnival Tea Party Marquee, Also Bramley Elderly Action had the sum of £82 so both organisations recieved some money from the event.
Bramley Elderly Action claimed the sum of £165.64 in Expenses for providing Beverages and Scones etc.
A spokeswoman for Bramley Elderly Action did say that the Tea Tent was a good thing, althou they over catered, this was no fault of BEA it was the weather was not very kind to us unfortunately. It was well worth it has 2 organisations have benefitted from this.
